Died at his residence in Bainbridge, Ind on the 22nd day of February 1863, Mr. John C Wingate, an old and highly esteemed citizen of Monroe Township having migrated to this county from Shelby County KY in the year 1832. He was in the 77th year of his age at the time of his death. He leaves an aged wife and eight children to deplore their loss.
